Regular & IRA Certificates
Features
The Market Index Certificate gives you the safety of a traditional certificate and the potenially higher returns of a stock market investment. It is an insured credit union certificate that pays dividends based on the change in the Standard & Poor's 500 Composite Stock Price (S&P 500).
Here's how it works: If the S&P 500 goes up, you earn a percentage of the increase. If it goes down, you won't earn dividends, but you won't lose a penny of your original deposit. You share in the gains of the stock market without risking losses. Market Index Certificates are available in 1, 2, & 4 year terms with a minimum deposit of $1,000.
